Help us celebrate our big, green dinosaur’s birthday with a weekend full of fun activities including a bubbly birthday bath, cardboard cake decorating, dinosaur egg hunt, and more.

Bessie Needs a Bath!

Drop-in 10:00am – 11:00am
Before she kicks off her big day, Bessie needs a bath!

Roll up your sleeves, grab a giant sponge and suds up some soap bubbles to help our birthday girl get nice and clean.

Don’t forget in between her toes!

Decorate a Cardboard Cake for Bessie!

Drop-in 10:00am – 12:00pm
What does a giant green dinosaur like to eat on her birthday?

A giant colorful, cardboard cake of course!

Add a sprinkle of sparkles and a dusting of decorations as you help us craft a one-of-a-kind cake for the birthday girl.

The big moment is here – it’s time to sing happy birthday to Bessie!

Join us on the front lawn as we serenade Bessie with the best birthday song around.

Dinosaur Egg Hunt 12:30pm
Bessie wants to share her presents with you!

Bessie has hidden little treasures inside dinosaur eggs, and left them for our visitors to find.

One lucky birthday guest will find the special grand prize, a free membership to The Discovery Museums.

What will you discover inside your eggs?

Participants are welcome to bring a basket for their hunt.

Starts promptly at 12:30pm and prizes are limited.
