Multicultural event to celebrate the onset of spring with dry organic powdered colors, dance, live music, veg. food, ice cream, henna, face painting and free hugs.

Just as multitude of colors spring up in nature with the onset of spring, human beings have been endowed with multitude of colors.

Festival of Colors is aimed at celebrating the many colors in our lives and the oneness of it all.

This will be a 3-hour program where -

You will enjoy family-friendly cultural presentations like dances, musical bands, etc.
There will be booths/vendors from different communities displaying spring-related traditions from their cultures or selling their wares.

Relish different cuisines from the vegetarian food stalls and an ice cream truck.

There is entertainment for all ages including bounce houses, henna and face painting booths.

Most importantly, we will be playing with dry organic powdered colors – a tradition where we welcome spring and greet friends by applying colors on each other’s faces and throwing colors in air.
