The 2008 “Family Day Kite Festival” is a day of family fun featuring kite contests, field games, food, face painting, vendors, entertainment, and more. A family tradition with thousands of Bostonians of all ages, the Boston Kite & Flight Festival, presented by the Quintessence Edutainment and Touch 106.1 will once again attract throngs of kite and flight enthusiasts to The Playstead at Franklin Park.

The Playstead is located between the Franklin Park Zoo and White Stadium. By MBTA, take the Orange Line to Forest Hills and the #16 bus to the zoo. By car, the park can be reached from Blue Hill Ave., Seaver Street, or Circuit Drive. Ample free parking. Fully handicapped accessible.
