The Skate-a-Thon will raise funds for innovative cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Skaters will enjoy two hours of skating and free skate rental, generously provided by The Skating Club of Boston, as well as fun giveaways and a special appearance by stars from Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy.
To participate, skaters will be asked to raise a minimum of $25 with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber. The Top 10 fundraisers will receive 2 tickets to Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy playing TD Banknorth Garden Feb. 13-22.
