This year’s NSTAR’s Walk for Children’s Hospital Boston is Sunday, June 10—fun for the whole family, a great chance to meet other Children’s friends and a place to stand up and step out for a hospital that changes lives every day.In addition to the walk, there will be lots of live entertainment.
About the NSTAR Walk for Children's Hospital Boston
Some people walk to get where they’re going. Others walk to improve their health. This June we ask that you walk to keep kids healthy. That’s what we do every day at Children’s Hospital Boston. We are busier then ever caring for kids – half a million every year.
Cuts in government funding and partial insurance reimbursements make it harder than ever to cover treatment costs and find cures. That doesn’t change our commitment to treating every child who comes through our doors. And it doesn’t change how we treat kids—with care second to none.
But we can’t do it alone. For the past six years, people interested in supporting our work to care for sick and injured children have walked to raise money for Children’s Hospital Boston. Just last June, 4,000 men, women, and children took to the paths along the Boston Esplanade and raised $1.3 million to support our work.
