For 15 years, residents of Georgetown and its neighboring communities have enjoyed family-friendly, free music concerts during summer Sundays. This year, the Georgetown Summer Concert Series (GSCS) promises another excellent program representing a variety of musical styles.

The concerts are held at the Kiwanis Ice House Performing Art Pavilion located at American Legion Park in Georgetown (in the event of rain, concerts will be moved to the Penn Brook School auditorium). Check this site for the latest scheduling information.

As always, they are family friendly. Feel free to bring your own picnic basket or buy snacks from local community organizations, such as the Georgetown Kiwanis, Erie 4, Friends of Camp Denison, Georgetown Historical Society, and the Georgetown Cultural Council.

Locations
In good weather, the concerts will be at the American Legion Park in the Kiwanis Ice House Performing Arts Pavilion.

If the weather is bad, the concert is held in the Penn Brook School on Elm Street. Look for information on this site or on concert signage in town to see if the venue has been changed.

Directions to American Legion Park
From 95 North or South: Take exit 54 (Georgetown, Route 133). At end of ramp turn right and proceed towards Georgetown. At intersection of Route 133 and Route 97, (Georgetown Savings Bank on the right), proceed straight. Approximately 1/4 mile from that intersection, turn a right onto Prospect Street. (Richdale's Convenience Store is on the right just before Prospect). Take first left onto dirt road in front of Georgetown Lumber building. This road will take you to the park entrance. The Kiwanis Ice House Performing Arts Pavilion is at the opposite end of the parking lot.

Directions to Rain Location
In the event of rain, concerts will be held at the Penn Brook School auditorium. To get to the school, follow the directions above from 95 North or South. However before getting to the intersection of Route 133 and Route 97, you will pass Elm Stree on the left (you've just missed it if you see the Getty gas station on your left and a plaza with Dunkin' Donuts on your right). Turn on to Elm Street. The School is located at 68 Elm Street; its entrance is to the left and across from an open field.
