Walk with Us and Support NAMI Massachusetts! This 3 mile walk, held at Artisani Park in Brighton, will help raise public awareness and fight stigma about mental illness and raise much needed funds for our programs.

We expect 7,000 people and to raise $400,000! Boston’s own Mayor Tom Menino is “starting” the event.

The Walk is a day of entertainment, music, food, and fun, and it is an excellent way to show your support for the millions of people living with mental illness.

Participants can walk as an individual or as a team, and they are encouraged to collect pledges/donations from family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. All walkers raising $100 or more will receive a NAMI WALKS Boston 2007 event T-shirt.

To register or to make a donation, please visit nami.org/namiwalks/ma or contact namiwalksboston@nami.org or 781 – 938 – 4048.
