The Festival will take place from 9:30am to 3:00pm at various venues around town. On the common you can browse table displays from commercial and non-profit vendors and watch your kids participate in fun eco-themed activities, as well as shop the last Farmers Market of the season while listening to live music. Saunter through Town Hall to peruse art exhibits from local artists, and head up to the First Congregational Church for presentations on issues of sustainability.
The themes of this event, co-organized by FAN and Sustainable Winchester will be recycling, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.
Thanks to generous sponsors like Whole Foods Market, REI, Carole Kitchen and Bath this will be a fun, free, community-wide celebration of the positive lifestyle changes we can make to help the environment.
We’ll have booths set up on the town common (alongside the last Farmers Market of the season) with engaging children's activities, educational exhibitors and numerous green product demonstrations. Live music and a Trash Bash Musical Parade for families will surely delight.
And much more…
