Celebrate the New Year with Newton's Mayor Setti Warren and an afternoon of special entertainment. Free. Sponsored by Citizens Bank. Featuring performances by Boston's favorite magician, Bonaparte, fun storytelling by Big Joe, entertainment by the Newton Family Singers and the Joanne Langione dancers.

Face painting by Newton Girl Scouts, and refreshments donated by Whole Foods. Bring packaged snacks, chewing gum, mints and toiletries to ship to our troops overseas. Call 617-527-8283 for more information. Newton City Hall.
