“Harvest of Horrors” Returns to Tony Andrews’ Farm

Cape Cod’s haunted attraction, the “Harvest of Horrors” celebrates its 36th year anniversary this Halloween.

Located at Tony Andrews’ Farm, 394 Old Meetinghouse Road in East Falmouth, the attraction is just minutes away from Falmouth, Mashpee, Barnstable, and Sandwich.

The Harvest of Horrors has been completely reconfigured, redesigned, and expanded for 2014.

The former stage show and haunted house have been replaced with an all-new haunted hayride and expanded outdoor walking trail.

Guests first board a tram for a Haunted Hayride deep in the woods behind the 33-acre farm.

The ride creeps along a dark, ½ mile long dirt road, where creatures begin to stir and attempt to stop visitors from returning home.

The tram then drops passengers off at the entrance to the Haunted Forest, where the audience is separated into small groups as they enter.

The winding outdoor path is ¼ mile long (newly expanded for 2014) and is not for the faint of heart.

Audiences thrill to encounter exhibits containing horrible monsters and other frightening scenarios (all in good fun, naturally), on their way to the exit.

Both the Haunted Hayride and Haunted Forest will feature live actors in elaborate costumes & make-up, professional animatronics, and special effects.

The Harvest of Horrors is owned and operated by North Falmouth resident Bruce Allen.

Mr. Allen is Facilities Manager at Cotuit Center for the Arts (CCftA) and is on the Board of Directors at Falmouth Theatre Guild (FTG).

He has designed and built many sets for community theaters, including “Spamalot” at CCftA, “The Secret Garden”, and, most recently, the acclaimed set for “Young Frankenstein” at FTG.

Caution: Smoke machines, strobe lights, and lasers may be in use, along with loud noises, uneven terrain, and areas of complete darkness.

Proper footwear is required.

The Harvest of Horrors will be open on October 11, 12, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, & Nov.

Gates open at 6:30 pm, with the last ticket sold at 9:00 pm each night.
