For many years paranormal investigators and spiritualists have been drawn to 296 Upton Street, on Route 140 in Grafton, Massachusetts.
Numerous visitors to the property have reported witnessing strange sounds, apparitions and even a shadowy outline of the human form.
Local historical records indicate that Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital was formerly located in the lower “hallow” section of the property, but was eventually leveled after it was severely damaged during a secondary tornado that same day during the infamous 1953 Worcester Tornado outbreak.
Could the disturbances on the property and this tragic weather event be related?
