Join the Acton Historical Society and Iron Work Farm of Acton, Massachusetts and Ride the Patriots Day Trolley from Town Hall, 472 Main Street to the Hosmer House, Jones Tavern and the Faulkner House, to an afternoon filled with entertainment, games, crafts, animals, demonstrators, storytellers, and tours of historic buildings.
At the Hosmer House ~ 300 Main Street
- Meet Joseph Robbins, Captain of the Acton East Militia Company
- See the 1790’s Chippendale Desk that belonged to Capt. Robbins crafted by Ammi White, 18th century Concord cabinetmaker Mrs. Martha Lane is visiting the Hosmer House and
preparing a few delicious 18th century food dishes.
- Make a Tricorn Hat and Learn to Drill with the Recruitment Officer of Col. Bailey's 2nd Massachusetts Regiment.
- Talk with Dr. John Swift our Colonial Physician
- Mr. Fred Lawson will demonstrate colonial basket weaving
- Have your Silhouette made by Jean and Marcella Comerford
- Pick up your Capt. Isaac Davis Trail Scroll at the Hosmer House
after completing the 'Line of March' with the Acton Minutemen to the Old North Bridge in Concord.

At the Jones Tavern ~ 128 Main Street
- Meet the Soldiers of the 28th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, the 4th Regiment of Meagher's Irish Brigade, Army of the Potomac.
- Stop by the Tavern for some cider ~ seasoned with fiddle music.
At Faulkner House ~ 5 High Street
- Mr. Dennis Ahern will tell about the events of April 19, 1861 and Acton’s involvement at the start of the Civil War.
- Tour the encampment of the 35th Virginia Battalion Confederate Cavalry
- Visit with 19th century Farm Animals.
- Tour the Acton Memorial Library's New Historical Exhibit 486 Main Street
