The Le Grand David and his own Spectacular Magic Company, now in its 35th year, performs most every Sunday at 3:00 p.m at the Cabot Street Cinema in Beverly.

Nearly everything about this charming magic show is a vaudeville classic, from the glittery costumes to the handsome barbershop quartet. A dashing tuxedoed usher welcomes you in, player-piano music tinkles in the lobby, and Harlequin attired jugglers entertain you as you await the rise of the curtain.

From Boston -- Follow Route 1 North to Route 128 North

From Route 128 -- Take Exit 22E (marked as Route 62), follow Route 62 for 2.5 miles, and turn right on Cabot Street. The Cabot Street Cinema Theatre is two blocks ahead on your right. The Larcom Theatre is six blocks ahead.

From Salem, Marblehead and Lynn -- Follow Route 1A across the Salem-Beverly Bridge, and continue straight on Cabot Street. Wallis Street and the Larcom Theatre are nine blocks ahead on your left, the Cabot Street Cinema Theatre thirteen blocks ahead.

Tickets for the show are often available the same day, as the Cabot Street Cinema holds 700 seats. However, since there is no reserved seating, it is best to arrive 30 minutes before the show as the best spots fill up early. If parking can't be found on the street, you can find spaces in a municipal lot around the corner.

Excellent Show

I went to this show with my family. It is really excellent and worth the money. There was no unnecessary marketing or gimmick. Every thing was done in a smooth way and very enjoyable! I strongly recommend those who love magic shows to visit this one.

Great magic long show

We enjoyed the magic parts -- Le Grand David is engaging and very good. Other acts were corny and didn't add much, though my young daughter and the other kids in the theater were transfixed. The clown policing the young audience pre-show could have smiled or something.

Excellent entertainment for kids and adults. I brought my 4/1/2 yr old daughter and she loved it. Not only was it worth every penny, but the costumes were unbelievable. We arrived at 2:30 and were able to get front row seats..Beverly is also a great town to have dinner after the show.

Cabot Street Magic

I have taken my kids to see this show - and taken some not-so-wealthy youngsters to Beverly. It has been 2 years since I was there last with my eldest son and HIS 5 children, so we're a 3-Generation bunch of fans of this wonderful spectacle! We've remembered and re-hashed the show again and again. My advice: If you think you've 'seen it all', you're in for a wonderful wonderful extravaganza! Le Grand David Magic Show

I went to this show with small children ages five- to adults. This show was very entertaining and exciting. There was singing, dancing, magic, the costumes were outstanding. This was a great show, almost 2 and 1/2 hours of entertainment. Well worth the price of the tickets. I will come again for they update the shows.
