South African safaris are famous for a spectacular array of wildlife that includes predators and prey, grazers, browsers, and scavengers.

You probably know 'the Big Five': lion, leopard, elephant, Cape buffalo and rhinoceros; but can you name 'The Ugly Five?' The country also hosts a rich avifauna from eagles and chanting-goshawks to hornbills and bee-eaters.

In addition to exploring the savannahs, our journey will include other beautiful habitats: the desert-like Karoo, the heath-like Fynbos, the coastline, and the Swartberg and Drakensberg mountains.

Location-themed buffet dinner and lecture or lecture only.

Pre-registration required for dinner by 6pm Tuesday, February 24.
