Lemonade Day is an annual educational program designed to teach youth how to start, own, and operate their very own lemonade business. Imagine the powerful experience of young people learning everything necessary to run their own business as they learn valuable life lessons on how to set goals, find investors, select a site, advertise a product, build a stand, purchase supplies, make healthy products, serve customers, keep sales and expense records, open a bank account, and give back to their community.

This amazing program is free to youth and begins when they register to participate and receive their Lemonade Day backpacks full of resources including an entrepreneur workbook. The youth and a caring adult complete each lesson together and the knowledge and skills learned are put to work on Lemonade Day when they set up and open for business their very own lemonade stand.

On Lemonade Day, with the support and encouragement of the entire community, youth take center stage and everyone in town is either selling lemonade or buying lemonade. For many youth, this will be a life changing experience.
