Dance with Alastair Moock 'a musical descendant of Woody Guthrie [who] refreshes the classic brand of acoustic folk with a zany sense of humor.' Alastair will be joined by Boston’s Family Folk Chorale.

Long one of Boston’s premier folk artists, Alastair Moock turned his attention to family music after the birth of his twin girls in 2006.

Since then, he won the Parents' Choice Gold Award, three NAPPA Gold Awards, and was recently named a 2013 GRAMMY Nominee.

The Boston Globe calls him 'a Tom Waits for your tots' and Time Out New York calls him 'a musical descendant of Woody Guthrie [who] refreshes the classic brand of acoustic folk with a zany sense of humor.'

Alastair will be joined by Boston’s Family Folk Chorale, an inter-generational chorus of kids, parents, and grandparents: http://www.familyfolkchorale.org.

Families will also enjoy our crafts area featuring Kidcasso.

Kidcasso is an art studio designed for students from ages 6 months-Adult to study, explore, and create original works of art.

Students will be engaged in a variety of artistic activities that will encourage team building skills, communication skills and self-awareness skills, along with building upon the National Art Education Standards.

Students will be immersed in painting, drawing, sculpture, and a multitude of other art forms.

Located in Wakefield.

We suggest taking the 10:00, 11:15 or 11:30 ferry in order have plenty of time to tour the islands and catch the concert.

Return ferries leave at 2:30, 3:00, 4:00, or 4:15 pm.
