Cochran-Wrenn Duo returns to Gore Place to perform a lively and colorful program for flute and guitar that is inspired by nature, dance, literature and more! In the newly restored Carriage House

From Bach to the Tango and beyond, Bonnie and Bryan perform “a refreshing mix of music from early classics to jazz” for flute and guitar.

The Cochran Wrenn Duo has been featured at First Night Worcester, the Worcester Music Guild, Assumption College and on WCVB’s Chronicle.

Be prepared for a colorful and lively program with inspiration from nature to literature to dance and even music itself.

Shafer Mahoney’s mesmerizing Shining River inspired by the writings of naturalist John Muir

David Leisner’s Acrobats—a spirited and colorful fantasy inspired by Nathan Englander’s “The Tumblers,” a dark short story set during WWII, in which a group of Hasidic Jews mistakenly find themselves on a circus train instead of a train to a concentration camp

Edgar Girtain’s Dance Piece, a jazzy and charming piece inspired by dance
