KIDS Fests
Black Bear Moon Rhythm Ensemble, Ben Rudnick & Friends and Toe Jam Puppet Band (August 2, August 23 at 11AM-2PM,).
Dance Series
Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and Modern Dance take the stage three Saturdays at 3 PM following our KIDS Fests. Look for the Seacoast Civic Dance Company (July 12), Portsmouth School of Ballet (August 2) and Southern NH Youth Ballet (August 23).
Mid-Week Concert Series
Every Wednesday at 7 PM grab a bite from the Concession Stand and enjoy a mid-week concert .
Community Showcases
Friday evenings at 5 PM a youth group or emerging local band will take the stage. On the schedule so far: Portsmouth Music and Arts Center’s Jazz (July 18) and Rock (August 1) Camp performances, and the PPAF Academy’s culminating performances (July 25 and August 15).
Music Festivals
With the exception of the Tommy Gallant Jazz Festival, all Music Festivals are SATURDAY, starting at NOON with a SUNDAY RAIN DATE.
PPAF Academy
Be A Star at the Prescott Park Arts Festival Academy. Youth ages 8-12 will learn theatrical skills and rehearse and perform a play. Sessions are July 7-25 and July 28-Aug. 15 from 9 AM to Noon. Limit 20 per session. Don’t get left out. Sign up today!

From the Concord, NH area, take Route 4 East to the Portsmouth Traffic Circle, then take I-95 North to Exit 7
From the North, take I-95 South to Exit 7
From the South, take I-95 North to Exit 7
From Exit 7, drive one mile through downtown Portsmouth following signs to Strawbery Banke. Prescott Park is located on Marcy Street directly across from Strawbery Banke.
The City of Portsmouth provides free parking to Festival vistors on Pierce Island. Please follow the Free Festival Parking signs on Marcy Street and then turn onto Mechanic Street and cross the bridge. There is no parking on Mechanic Street. Cars parked in No Parking areas will be towed. We urge Festival visitors to use the Municipal Parking Garage on Hanover Street. Parking is 50 cents per hour and is a three-minute walk to the Festival gates through the downtown area.
