3-starEnjoyable Afternoon
While this family festival wasn't very large, it was cute and our kids (6 & 4)had fun. Highlights for them were the face painting, spin art, fishing for magnet fish at the pond, and the live music. There was also a unique climbing structure that they kept going back to. Vanessa Trien performed at 2:00pm and she had the kids smiling and dancing. Early on there was a drumming/dancing performance which demonstrated lots of different drums and dances from Africa and Puerto Rico. All in all, while it wasn't the most exciting festival for adults, it was a pleasant afternoon being outside with the kids.
1-starVery Poor Event
There was no life to this 'festival', unprofessional, unmanaged, no excitement. without trying to be mean, it was very lame and pointless, quite a waste of time driving there and getting the kids ready for it. Our son was so excited about the instrument petting zoo that I told him would be there, and getting there, both him and I were confused to see this 'zoo' being a total of 4 recorders being passed around 3-4 kids' mouths. Altogether, boring and a big disappointment.
