Living Root Dragon Boat seeks athletic men and women for Boston dragon boat racing in 2008!
What are the benefits of dragon boat racing? If you are looking to develop teamwork, discipline, mental focus, precision, and upper body/abdominal/lower back strength, all while meeting new people and training on the Charles River, Living Root Dragon Boat is where you want to be. We help you get results!
Opportunities available to race in Boston, Montreal, New York City, Pawtucket, Hartford and San Francisco are also available!
No prior experience necessary. Athleticism, good overall fitness, and/or prior triathlon, swimming, basketball, cycling, marathon, volleyball, rugby, field hockey, lacrosse, football, soccer, running, crew, rowing, sculling, paddling, canoeing, white water rafting, outrigger, kayaking, water polo, or yoga experience a plus.
Paddlers are expected to consistently attend 1-2 practices each week to develop together with the team.
