The Lexington Players proudly announce the YouthStage production of Humbug.

Humbug follows the story of Eleanor Scrooge, a ruthlessly ambitious Wall Street executive who has an aversion to Christmas and an insatiable appetite for power.

Locked in her office on a snowy Christmas Eve, Eleanor is determined to finish a corporate-takeover proposal until three 'advisors' provide her with an eye-opening new appreciation for the holidays and the spirit of Christmas.

An upbeat and moving adaptation of Dickens' holiday classic, Humbug is one for the ages. With a contemporary flair, it is a tale the whole family will enjoy!

Over 25 talented youths from Lexington and the surrounding area make up the cast and crew of this production directed by Sal Jones.

Many come with community theater experience, and half of the cast and crew are returning members of the YouthStage Drama Program.

The cast includes: Olivia Byrd (Eleanor Scrooge), P.J. Gruskin (Ellie Scrooge), Anna Benson (Bobbie Cratchit), Matt Hickey (John Misselhouse), Donovan Jermyn (Phil), Anna Eaglesham (Sarah), Pierce Cattier (Ben), Ryan Conners (Marley), (Robert), Bradley Winters (Tug), Matt Hickey (Past), Colleen Levangie (Present), Schyler Hess (Future), Dular Das (Timmy), to mention a few.

All shows are at 7pm.

Performances are Fridays, December 12 and 19 and Saturdays, December 13 and 20 at the Cotting School located at 453 Concord Avenue, Lexington, MA.
