The race begins at Dockside Restaurant, 229 Centre Street, Malden, MA, and follows the Northern Strand Community Trail.
The course is a flat 3.2 miles along the bike path towards Everett, MA and back.
The registration fee to participate is $25.
Runners and walkers can register at www.racemenu.com/bluroffur.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the animals cared for by Kitty Connection.
Leashed dogs can join participants in the race, and are welcome on the patio at Dockside Restaurant before and after the race.
Dockside Restaurant will provide a free pasta salad and pizza buffet for registrants.
Kitty Connection is an all-volunteer, IRS-certified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned, abused and unwanted cats and dogs.
The organization runs solely on donations.
