Members $8, Non-Members $10
Instructor: Ann Marie Pilch, Education Coordinator
What would happen if you built a house for the fairies to live in? Would they come? Come hear the story of a girl who built a fairy house in the woods and discovered that more than fairies came to visit. Then build your own fairy house and garden in a basket to bring home to your backyard or other special place. Baskets and natural “construction” materials will be supplied.
Earth Day Crafts
CHCL 11007: Thursday, April 21, 11 A.M. – 3 P.M.
Included with Admission
Celebrate Earth Day while making a fun craft out of re-usable and natural materials. Your imagination is the limit - piggy banks, nature journals, vases, gift boxes and more!
African Violets for Young Growers
CHCL 11008: Friday, April 22, 1 P.M. – 2:30 P.M.
Members $5, Non-Members $8
Instructors: Members of the Bay State African Violet Society
Designed for young growers, aged 9-14. Younger children may attend with an adult companion.
It's never too early to start learning to grow and love America's favorite house plant, the African Violet. If you have one or more of these blooming plants at home or have wished you had one to brighten your home, come join us to learn about them! We'll learn some basics about violet care and how to mix your own soil. We'll pot up a young plant to take home and learn to 'put down' a leaf to propagate new plants.
