Our next free MIT campus Science on Saturday event will be “Rockets and Flight” 10:00 a.m.-noon on February 6th.

Come see our live stage show at MIT's Kresge Auditorium with student volunteers and audience participation. Then stay for the hands-on activity tables in the lobby afterward.

Volunteers from the audience can help with lots of fun demonstrations on stage, and everyone can participate at hands-on activity tables afterward.

Come help us launch balloon rockets, make balls float in the air, test gyroscopes, create paper helicopters, and explore rocks like those on the moon and Mars!

There is also half-price, same-day admission to the MIT Museum for Science on Saturday attendees.

All of our Science on Saturday events on the MIT campus are free and open to all elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as their parents and teachers.

They are sponsored by the MIT Museum and the Akamai Foundation.
