lego train model train layout photoThe Lego Train is coming back, watch it race 'round the giant track, through cityscapes and colorful shacks. Listen as the train goes clickety-clack.

The museum is thankful for the generosity of the New England Lego Train Users Group for making this event possible.

Make tracks to Wenham Museum on Valentine's Weekend, February 12 & 13 and share your love of LEGOs and Model Trains with family and friends with a visit to the LEGO Train the highlight of the Train Time 16 model train exhibition.

Explore the museum's International Doll Gallery, peek inside the windows of the many dollhouses, imagine yourself dressed in period costumes of the 19th century and discover how we have lived, dressed and played for three centuries as you tour the museum's historic Clafin-Richard's House located on the museum's campus.

This event is free with admission. General museum admission: $7.50 adults, $5.50 children ages 1+.

Driving:

From points south: Take Route 128 north to exit 20-A (Route 1A - Hamilton). Follow Route 1A north for 2.3 miles. The Museum is on the right before the Wenham Town Hall.
From points north: Take Route 95 South to Route 128 North. Then follow the directions as above.

Public Transportation:
B&M Commuter Rail to Hamilton-Wenham; 15-minute scenic walk south from the depot on Route 1A. http://www.mapquest.com/maps?cat=wenham+museum
The museum is handicapped accessible with the exception of the second floor of the museum's Claflin-Richards House.

  • Take the train to see the trains and extend the fun in this affordable family fun special event. Plan to spend 2 or more hours touring the museum. Take the Newburyport line on the commuter rail to the Hamilton Stop. Parking is free at the museum.
