Art in Bloom is Boston's thirty-second annual festival of fine art and fresh flowers, presented by the MFA Associates of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Objects selected from the Museum’s collections are interpreted in flowers by sixty-three New England garden clubs. Professional floral designers contribute by creating grand arrangements for the Museum's public spaces.

Share the wonder of Art in Bloom with nature and flower-related art activities, performances, and special tours offered throughout the galleries for children of all ages and their families.

Scheduled Events
1:30: Listen to stories about flowers in the American galleries
11:30am or 2pm: Kid-friendly Family Gallery Tour at , all departing from Sharf Information Center. 12pm & 2pm: Join a local artist in the Dutch gallery for an artist demonstration to learn techniques to use while drawing plants and flowers you see in the Museum and in the special arrangements.
12:30pm – 1:30pm: Turn your body into branches, petals, and blossoms during an interactive session of artful yoga in the Koch gallery.

All Day
Design a replica stained glass flower in the 1st floor Greek gallery.
Create Origami paper flowers in the 1st floor Japanese gallery.
Join Sidewalk Sam to draw a colored chalk garland of flowers outside the Huntington Avenue entrance.
Take a Family Place Nature Walk leaving from the Upper Rotunda Rotunda, sketching what you discover.
