To the Family, Friends, and Guests of Forest Hills Cemetery — Over the past 15 years, we have enjoyed sharing our cemetery with those who have traveled from near and far to take part in our annual Lantern Festival. However, this year — which would have been our 16th annual Lantern Festival — we will not be holding the festival as we take some time to review and examine the details and logistics for this event.
Please join us as we continue to host various walking tours this summer and fall. Please stop back by our website for the latest on all such events.
As always, we thank you for your support of Forest Hills Cemetery. We hope to see you this summer.
For questions please call (617) 524-0128, or contact us.

The Lantern Festival draws its inspiration from the Japanese Bon Festival -- a celebration each year when a door opens to the world of their ancestors allowing loved ones to send messages to the other side. It is a time when neighbors come together to share stories, celebrate, and honor the memories of loved ones.
