Plants from the Sedgwick Garden at Long Hill also will be sold. A feature of the sale is the Silent Auction; spirited bidding may be rewarded with an uncommon or rare specimen. Smug past winners have planted yellow rhododendrons, double trilliums and pink yellowwood trees in their gardens. These special auction plants are donated by nurserymen and accomplished gardeners.Proceeds from the sale will support continued renovation of the Sedgwick Gardens, as well as the future Long Hill Horticultural Center.
