Established in 1989 by Suffolk University Women's Coach, Ed Leyden, Reading Girls Basketball Summer Camp is open to both residents and non-residents of the Town of Reading. It is considered by many as one of the finest basketball teaching camps on the North Shore with emphasis placed on instilling the fundamentals of the game through drills, mini-lectures, video analysis and team play.
The staff is comprised of experienced college and high school coaches and players who love teaching the game. Participants are grouped according to age and ability with advanced instruction
provided for advanced players. Participants receive t-shirt. Cost is $200. Location is Reading Memorial High School Field House, 62 Oakland Road.
