The New England Junior Open, hosted by Marblehead Youth Badminton, is a two-day tournament in which junior badminton players, aged 7-21 years, register to play.

At Marblehead High School, NEJO 2011 offers spectators the opportunity to watch top-ranking players from various states -- Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, as well as from all across Massachusetts -- compete against our local athletes.

While major awards will be presented Sunday, such as the Bingenheimer Award, there will be plenty of action-packed badminton to watch on 12 courts, as well as other games, raffles, and a bake sale, among other events.

Admission is free.
