On Thursday, May 17 at 7 p.m., twenty-eight local amateur fighters will compete in boxing matches as part of Haymakers for Hope at The House of Blues in Boston.

Equity traders, Harvard Business School students, a former New England Patriot, and a firefighter are some of the people that will be boxing in the ring.

All event proceeds benefit pediatric and adult cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Last year’s inaugural event raised more than $140,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

General admission tickets are $75 (standing room only), VIP packages available for $150. Box seating and sponsorship packages are also available. For more information or to purchase tickets please visit www.haymakersforhope.org. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
