Annual Kick-Off Event to Feature Christina Ricci, author of best selling golf book “A Girls on Course Survival Guide to Golf” and
Fred Corcoran, Founder of “Golf for All” Northeast Accessible Golf Association

The Boston Chapter of the EWGA – the organization dedicated to enriching the lives of women through the game of golf will celebrate the opening of the 2015 golf season with their annual Kick-Off event.

The Kick–Off will include brunch, guest speakers, vendor offerings, prize table drawings and the opportunity to meet like minded women interested in either learning, improving or even competing in the game of golf.

The event is scheduled to take place at Granite Links Golf Club 100 Quarry Hills Drive, Quincy, Massachusetts on March 29th from 11:30 am-3:30 pm The Kick Off will highlight guest speakers Christina Ricci, author of best selling golf book series “a Women’s on Course Survival Guide to Golf” and Fred Corcoran, founder of “Golf for All” which offers free, accessible golf programs for our wounded warriors – US military veterans – children and adults with autism and autism-spectrum disorders, and others facing physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges.
Also featured will be many prizes from the chapter’s Birdie Sponsor Joe and Leigh’s Discount Golf Shop who have been a strong supporter of EWGA Boston in the past years.

Many golf courses such as Granite Links in Quincy, MA, Cranwell Resort and Spa in Lenox, MA and Atkinson Resort and Country Club in Atkinson NH will be donating complimentary foursomes and stay-and-play packages.

The Boston chapter offers an abundance of affordable organized golf, networking, learning and community that fit the needs and schedule of today’s working women.

This year’s schedule includes over 20 week night leagues at various golf courses such as Campbell’s Scottish Highlands and Amherst Country Club in New Hampshire and many in Greater Boston and inside Rte.

“EWGA also has plenty of opportunity to challenge women’s competitive spirit if they so desire” says Robin Duffy.

“We have various organized competitions at the local and national level which include women golfers of all abilities.

If you chose to compete you could qualify for our National competition and be part of the Largest Organized Women’s Amateur Golf Competition in the World!!

This year golfers who qualify will play the two day event in Mission Hills Golf Resort in Palm Springs California!”
