The Allen 250 Block Party is a community wide celebration commemorating the 250th birthday celebration honoring Bishop Richard Allen, Founder of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.

The St. Paul AME Church is organizing the Allen 250 Block Party on Bishop Allen Drive in Central Square, Cambridge with a festive event to include music and dance performances on the main stage, food and craft vendors, games, family activities, and a historical re-enactment of the event that led to the founding of the AME Church taking place inside the St. Paul Church.

A rededication of the Bishop Richard Allen Drive with Cambridge Mayor David Maher, Councilor Kenneth Reeves, and Marcellus A. Norris, Pastor, of St. Paul is at 1:00 pm on the main stage.
