At the Nock psychophysiology lab we are interested in how stressful life experience impact emotion and health in adolescents. The study would involve you and your child coming to William James Hall in Cambridge for 3 hours.
You will be asked to complete some questionnaires about your health, your socioeconomic status, and your family dynamics. Your child will also complete questionnaires about their health, personality, and family dynamics, and they will complete some additional tasks while we monitor their heart rate and blood pressure. We pay a total of $50.
If this sounds like something you and your child would like to participate in or would like more information on, please feel free to send us an email indicating your interest at ascschildrenshospital@gmail.com or give us a call at 617-496-8563 and we can go ahead and schedule a time for you both to participate.
At this time we are interested in adolescents ages 13-17 years old. They must have a parent or guardian present with them on the day of the study. Transportation and parking is provided if needed.
