Cute background colors & props are available, and prints are ready in about an hour for you to choose from.

The Portrait club includes free unlimited sitting fees for 1 year. Photos are approximately $18 per sheet and you can select entire protrait packages for around $46 for the first package and $40 thereafter. Packages include all sizes from wallet to 10x13.

We had a horrible experience today with PicturePeople at Solomon Pond Mall. We booked an appointment for today in advance a week. However, when we went to the shop, we were told that the appointment was actually taken for a week before today. That means when I called them and asked for an appointemnt today, they actually booked the slot for the same day I called them. When we requested them to accomodate us for today, we recieved an arrogant response saying that they can't do that. Its not the question of whether we took the photograph or not. But about the way some one can talk with customers.

We had the picture people come to our Growing By Leaps & Bounds location for picture day. They came with 3 people and had a few cute props for the kids! It was made even more special because the photographers went throughout the center to take candid shots of the children at play and put it together in a huge montage of pictures with our center's name and date on it. To top it all off, they came back THAT VERY SAME DAY with the photo selections for the families to choose from. THEN, once the families had submitted their selections to the office, the Picture People came and picked them up and returned the completed package THAT VERY SAME DAY! They were even nice enough to give 1 family a free picture of their little boy because that family was having a hard time selecting pictures at all. Great job, and we will work with them in the future!

We waited for 1 hour before we got the slot in. We were not taken to any room but had it outside where it is tough to pose as there are onlookers. The female was too hasty and we did not like any of the pictures. We asked them to retake. They made a big fuss but then agreed. But this cost a 3 hr wait after that (luckily there are some shops in Solomon pond mall). After getting the second set - we had to pick a couple of pictures to get out of the store. We were told that the pictures will come in email within a week. It has been 2 months now, 5 requests to send pictures and still not here. I guess the third party company is actually sending one person walking all the way to deliver the digital pictures. Damn these folks. Height of unprofessionalism..

These guys are useless! ! Went in with a toddler for pic, the girl just sat frustrated while I tried to calm down my kid at the new place!! Finally she suggested that he cannot get a picture if he wouldn't calm down!! I said thanks and left, really very useless picture people!!

We've taken my two-year-old daughter there three times now. Each time she has reacted by freaking out and crying. I have been consistently impressed with the patience and sensitivity of the photographers there. I keep expecting it to be a disaster, yet they always manage to get some really great shots.

I went to picture people to take pictures of my 18 month old yesterday. I have taken her regularly before at JCPenny, Sears portrait studio before and thought of trying out ' more ' professional studio expeirence. We had to wait for half an hour. The photographer came and took us in corner and not a room, randomly clicked few pictures.....i had to suggest her poses instead of her telling me few. I barely had choice to pick from. I would definitely not go to them again

1. Is no longer a Hallmark Company. 2. There are plain backgrounds and cute props! 3. There are no longer sitting fees. 4. Portrait Club: 3 free sheets (8x10,5x7's or/and wallets depending on store) and 3 $10 off coupons that you can use with a coupon! 5. Now $18 a sheet. 6.Pose: first is $46 each additonal is $40. 7. Coupons do not always consist of 8x10 or 10x13s it depends on the promotion that is being offered at the time! 9. YES! If you need more than the allowed 20 min per sitting PLEASE ask for more than one arrival time! HELPFUL HINTS: 1. Don't dress an infant that does not sit up on their own in overalls. 2. If your child walks in and throwns a fit cause they are afraid of the background.... don't push them in to it! Come back another day and everyday if need be untill they get use to it! 3. First birthday pictures.....ask if the store will take an extra roll of candid shots of your child with birthday cake or cup cake these are AWESOME SHOTS! 4. Latex balloons look GREAT in ALL age birthday shots! 5. ALWAYS bring in any props you have from home that you may want to use in your photos nothing would ever be turned down unless it is totally unsafe for your child! 6. LET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER BE IN CHARGE OF THE SITTING!!!! If they ask what you are doing today explain to them what you would like to be done and then tell them what ever else you think would be great too! 7. Patience for the subjects yes! But sometimes not for their parents so please..... let the photographer handle it! * I am not from Mass. But another state that Picture People is located in!
