Neighborhood Brick Oven PizzaThe restaurant prepares my favorite red sauce in Boston, and all of the food is delicious. Antipasto, reasonable wine list, best veal, anywhere. You must leave room for desert (the canollis).
Throw in one of the best values in the city (salad, entrees, desert and a bottle of wine for two for less than $90), and you've got a can't miss restaurant.
Don't forget reservations, as you'll be waiting at least 30 minutes if you arrive without one.

La Summa...good Food, And Good Service!After many years of eating at one of my Northend Faviorites...we decided to try a new one and was checking out the menu, when a nice man told us to try it! We did...the food was Great, and the service we had was exceptional! The owner Barbara even sat and chatted with us! It was a great experience, and worth it. I would highly recommend this gem in the North End!!!!
La Summa, Good Food, Very Bad Customer ServiceLa Summa has always had pretty good food, but their customer service has always been very poor. Lately it's gotten even worse, so after many years of going there we have finally given up. There are too many other restaurants close by that have good food and treat their customers nicely. There is never a good reason to be rude to customers (so consistently). We wrote the owner about it, hoping the situation could be corrected, but we never received a reply. They don't even try.
