Others to Consider: Forest Cafe, Bucky's Burritos, Ixtapa Cantina, Qdoba Mexican Grille, Ole Mexican GrilleBoston is not well-known for its Mexican food, that's for certain, but The Border Cafe is well worth a visit. Great chips, salsa & fajitas. In addition, this Harvard Square hangout may serve the best margaritas in the area.
Patrons do not seem to mind the waits that are often well over an hour on weekends. During the summer they keep the AC up high for a refreshing cool down.
Portions are giant and cheap. High chairs are available and there is a large corner area to store strollers & gear. Overall a pretty good spot to visit for Mexican.

- The far corners of the downstairs dining area are freezing in the summer.
- The restaurant is fairly loud when crowded, which will drown out any noise your kid are making
- Margaritas could be better
