Enjoy a delightful harbor sail, a voyage full of history from the eighteenth century. Hop aboard, leave the dock and set sails. Courtesy ice water and cookies are always available. Guests can walk along the rails, looking out over beautiful Boston Harbor, or you can go below to the main salon, and enjoy the museum displays.

Each sail features a particular presentation, relating to the museum displays in the salon.

Your voyage on Formidable will be a unique and historic delight. You and your group will always remember your sail on a tradition square rigged vessel, enjoying beautiful Boston Harbor.

Please bring sun block, a hat, comfortable shoes, and a sweater to ward off the cold, even on summer days.

Cruise Schedule
In summer 2006 tours leave at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm for our harbor sails. 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm are charity excursions, and the 5:00pm sails are reserved for commercial passengers.

Featuring the Poincare - Formidable privateer attack with cannons blazing and flags flying. Formidable is ambushed by Poincare in Boston Harbor and a fantastic harbor battle follows! We operate on Saturdays at 11:00am, 2:00pm, and 5:00pm

Please assemble 15 minutes before each excursion near the Boston Waterboat Marina right behind the Chart House Restaurant on Long Wharf. We expect these events to sell out quickly, so be sure to call our reservation number for this event to reserve your spot. New lower prices.
