Established in 1856 as the Worcester Employment Society, the Center forged a tradition for economic empowerment by teaching immigrants the skills needed to create and sell crafts.
Today, The Worcester Center for Crafts is a learning community committed to providing quality craft education and promoting an appreciation for fine craft. The Center offers classes for adults and youth, youth outreach programs, Summer Camp for ages 6-12 years olds, workshops and more.

From points West & East: on Mass Pike: Take I-90 (Mass. Pike) to Exit #10 (Auburn/Worcester). After tolls, bear left onto I-290 toward Worcester. Get off at Exit #17. * At top of ramp, turn left, go downhill and bear right at Rte. 70/290E. sign. Immediately get into middle lane, bearing left at fork and continuing through light. Take second right onto Grove Street. Go 2/3 mile and turn left onto Sagamore Road after Tweed’s Pub. Craft Center is the second building on the left.
