Great Place To Go Swimming!!, Wed 12 Aug 2009
I never knew about this park until I read it in the AAA magazine. I took my son there recently and we loved it! I usually take my son to the beach in Gloucester but it's soo expensive to park there. This beach had two lifeguards on duty, ice cream truck , and a great playground to play on! We will definitely be going back!!!
Bridge Is Out!!!!!!!, Mon 18 Aug 2008
you may want to call for directions the bridge that you need to cross is under construction until November 2008. I had to go an additional 10 miles from the entrance and enter from Wenham Ma. Although this was a pain and out of the way the pool is still worth it!
Excellent Place!, Wed 25 Jun 2008
There were 4 lifeguards on duty. We had a great time. We met some new people and just had fun splashing around. We decided last minute to go since the weather warmed up. I found out that they have new hours this year 10 am til 6pm. An extra 2 hrs from last summer. Great place to take the kids.
A Wet And Wonderful Treat!, Sun 24 Jun 2007
This place was an absolutely perfect get-away on a hot summer day for my kids (and me!). my 1year old and 3 year old had a ball for hours...the pool is around 2 feet deep at its deepest and the entiire thing is shaped in a concave fashion (like a contact lens)...it progressively gets deeper...going from inches around the perimeter to 2 feet in the middle where there is a big mushroom that water cascades down from (liike a cylindrical waterfall). some parents were standing in the water, some were sitting at the water's edge some were in lawn chairs on the plush grass that surrounds the whole thing. there is a small 3-5yr old appropriate jungle gym with padded floor next to the pool. the bathrooms are OK. bring lunch and a lawn chair/towels and you and get ready for a great afternoon (you can definitely count on the kids napping after this activity!)
