Hingham Community Playground Planet Playground is an impressive, wooden play structure that was built in the the spirit of a community barn-raising back in 1998. Some 1500 volunteers of all ages helped, from mapping the planets to lugging piles of wood to wielding power tools, and the result is a unique playground that attracts children of all ages and is suitable for children with limited physical capabilities.
Planet Playground is located next to the Exeter Parks & Recreation Park (pool and tennis courts) on Hampton Road in Exeter. It is open to the general public at no charge!
