The King Cake is a traditional Mardi Gras treat to celebrate the feast of the epiphany. The cake has a small trinket, often a small plastic baby inside, and the person who gets the piece of cake with the trinket becomes King or Queen for the day.
Artbeat will be paying homage to this tradition all week long with our King Cake Pull. Come pull from our bag of trinkets. If you pull the plastic baby you will become the Artbeat King or Queen for the day winning a special sand art play date for you and a friend.
