Experience the magic of Christmas at the Newport Mansions, when the opulent summer cottages of the Gilded Age are transformed into a winter wonderland.
Throughout the holiday season, these magnificent Gilded Age villas are filled with thousands of poinsettia plants, spectacular evergreens, trees, wreaths and fresh flowers. Dining tables set with period silver and china, and mannequins dressed in authentic costumes complete the setting, against a backdrop of inspirational and historic architecture.
The glitter of gold and the sparkle of silver will dazzle you as you tour The Breakers, The Elms and Marble House decked out in Yuletide finery, with thousands of poinsettia plants, spectacular evergreens, trees, wreaths and fresh flowers. Dining tables set with period silver and china and mannequins dressed in authentic costumes complete the elegant setting.
All three houses are decorated and open daily for tours from November 12 through January 1.
Hours
Breakers opens at 9:00am; all other mansions open at 10:00am; last tour admission at 5:00pm; grounds close at 6:00pm.
The Breakers, The Elms & Marble House - Each house is open daily for tours. Please note, on Christmas Eve, December 24, the last tour admission at all 3 houses will be at 3 p.m. Houses are closed on Christmas Day.
