This is a self-guided, family-friendly tour of the best urban farms in Melrose.
Get tips on edible gardens, see what’s needed for keeping goats, chickens and bees in an urban setting, learn about composting, and ask a Master Gardner questions about your own garden.
Buy your ticket ahead and save or get your ticket the day of the tour.
All tour goers will start at the Senior Center at at 235 W.
Foster St.
All farms are located within Melrose, making for a bike-friendly 8-mile ride (50 minutes not including time for stopping) to visit each site.
