100% of the proceeds from the event will support their ambitious 2017-18 season. Says Club Vice President Katie Krieger,
With items ranging from coffee mugs to coffee tables, Club members have been collecting donations from families and friends, as well as cleaning out their costume and props closet to see what can be sold. Some serious deals are sure to be made on toys, bicycles, furniture, household and décor items, clothing and more.
The Club has even set up an “advanced viewing” Facebook page which contains a preview of items shoppers can claim ahead of time.
In addition to donations, other purchase items include sponsorship via the “Adopt-a-Seat” campaign, offering up seats in the ASRHS Auditorium, as well as making donations to their “Drop the Mic” campaign, supporting the purchase of theatrical microphones for students to use during performances. You can even get a “Keep Calm and Save the Drama for the Stage” Club shirt. And, of course, monetary donations in all amounts will be graciously accepted.
ASRHS Drama’s “TAG: You’re It” Fundraiser takes place on May 27, 2017 from 9am to 4pm in the parking lot of the Ayer Shirley Regional High School, 141 Washington Street in Ayer. In case of rain, the event will be held inside the school in the main cafeteria area.
Snacks will be available for purchase while browsers peruse the offerings, and friends will be made available to keep little ones occupied while parents meander.
