Boston Harbor Island Alliance is proud to announce free ferry service to Spectacle and Georges Islands. Enjoy a picnic on Georges Island, or relax aside a sandy beach on Spectacle Island.

Due to high demand, all tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are available starting at 8:00 am on the day of the trip at Boston's Best Cruises Long Wharf-North Ferry Center.

Boats depart from the Boston’s Long Wharf North, next to the Long Wharf Marriott Hotel, adjacent to Christopher Columbus Park, a short walk from the nearest MBTA station – the Aquarium T stop in downtown Boston.

Spectacle Island Free Friday

the rangers could not have been more pleasant and helpful. my kids had reel fishing lessons for free. and swam all day and enjoyed the top of the island..great place to take your kids for a fun day. we thought we missed the ranger for fishing and left to go to south beach, when another ranger actually came after us to let us know he was still at the hall to wait . and on the way another ranger took time out to show us some cool stuff.. loved it...been in boston 40 yrs and this was my first visit wonder why....take your kids or just go with your friends - its great..
