Pumpkin Painting - Paint a pumpkin in front of the Ames Mansion! This popular fundraiser is great family fun. Pumpkin prices run from $2 to $10. Paint is free!
Concert - Join Tina of Tina’s Tunes and Tales on a musical journey through the wonderful season of autumn! We’ll explore this season of change with songs about animal migration and hibernation and other fall treats, like colorful leaves and ripe, red apples!
Apple Pie Baking Contest - Your sugar says you bake the best apple pie in Eastern Massachusetts? Well, now is the time to prove it! Bake a nine-inch pie with a top and bottom crust, put your name and phone number on the bottom of the pie plate, and bring it to the Ames Mansion kitchen by 2 p.m. Judging will be at 3 p.m. in front of the mansion. Register for this event by calling Ellenor at 508-238-6566. These events are sponsored by Friends of Borderland and the Mass. Department of Conservation and Recreation.
