Eliot-Pearson Children's School Summer Program
Session I-The Daytime Sky;The sky at Night
Session II-Sculpture Art in Three Dimensions
Simming Daily at Tufts University Pool
The campus includes an air-conditioned building, indoor pool, and two large play yards with climbing structures, outdoor equipment and sprinklers. Our program focuses on activities that promote cooperative problem solving and self- confidence through individual and group challenges.
Throughout the summer, we use the Tufts University Hamilton Pool (located next to the Eliot-Pearson Children’s School) three mornings and two afternoons each week.
In addition to the program staff, we have lifeguards at the pool at all times. Children wear flotation devices provided by their families for recreational literature exploration, numeric concepts, problem solving, scientific inquiry, music, drama, and art will be integrated into each study. Each three-week session has a different theme.
