Free Admission & Fun for Families All Year Long!
Great news for Boston families! Mayor Michelle Wu has announced an exciting expansion of Boston Family Days, giving families more opportunities to enjoy free admission to many of the city's top museums and cultural institutions throughout 2025.

- Year-round family-friendly events
- Free admission to participating museums and cultural sites
What Are Boston Family Days?
Boston Family Days are special event days where Boston residents can visit some of the city’s world-class cultural institutions and museums completely free of charge. These events are designed to make the arts, history, and learning accessible and affordable for everyone.
Highlights for 2025
- Boston Children's Museum – Free admission, hands-on exhibits, and family programs.
- Museum of Fine Arts, Boston – Free entry and interactive art workshops for kids.
- Boston Public Library (Central Library and branches) – Storytimes, performances, and craft activities.
- Boch Center has committed to providing up to 100 tickets to Boston families through the Boston Family Days Program, free of charge, to 3-5 shows per year.
- Families will be able to sign up for tickets using the student’s ID number through a link that will be sent out by the City.
