This shed pictured above creates a digital rendition of a rainstorm, that starts with just a few plinks of rain, then turns into a thunderstorm and ends with a glorious sunrise.  It's quite unique and can be experienced from either inside or outside of the shed.  Get ready to be surrounded with light, sound and the wonder of an indoor rainstorm.

Visitors can proceed through each exhibit at their own pace.  Sometimes you'll have entire rooms all to yourselves and other times you may encounter other groups.  Certain rooms encourage you to flop down on cushy seating to experience what's happening.  You can definitely go along at whatever pace you choose.

You can even opt to leave a little piece of yourself for other visitors to enjoy on the Wisdom Wall.  An ever changing wall of wisdom knows no bounds and we were impressed with the creativity that so many had shared. 

It's clear that art can be created out of almost anything.  As you can see from the mesmerizing and constantly evolving mural below, this piece is comprised of a myriad of eyes!  This area has a cool seating area that you can kick back and relax as you watch this ever changing  visual morph as more images are added.  

It's kind of like watching a lava lamp, but it's an ever moving & changing wall of eyes.

• Book Tickets in Advance: The WNDR Museum is a popular destination, especially on weekends. Booking tickets online ahead of time ensures you won’t miss out on this fantastic experience.

• Allow Plenty of Time: With so many interactive exhibits to explore, you'll want to give yourself at least 90 minutes to fully experience the museum.

• Dress Comfortably: Since you'll be moving through various immersive environments, wearing comfortable clothing and shoes will help you enjoy the experience to the fullest.

• Bring a Camera: While you'll have your own photos, the WNDR Museum is an Instagrammer's paradise. Every room offers a perfect backdrop for family photos or creative selfies.

Getting There

WNDR Boston is conveniently located near the Downtown Crossing and Park Street stations which serve the Red, Green, and Orange lines.

Parking Discount - We are able to offer guests $2 off parking for the first 2 hours in the LaFayette Garage next door.

Enter at 1 Ave. de Lafayette around the corner. Ask a crew member in the WNDR Shop to stamp/validate your ticket.
